Elaine is a senior marketing and business development executive who also has five years of recruiting experience. Due to a layoff, she lost her full-time job which consisted of running both the marketing and recruiting departments. She started her job search in earnest and kept hitting roadblocks. She turned to social media and after reading countless posts, comments and horror stories from others who were also job hunting, she realized she was not alone. She decided to document her own personal experiences and share them with the world in her book, “True Stories about the Job Hunt from the Unemployment Line.”

Finally, she abandoned the traditional methods of job hunting and decided to employ the advice that she once doled out to professionals on how to land new clients. Her methods have been included in her book, and they have helped her tremendously to secure employment.
